The water is crystal clear and shallow with a magical flat section on the northern end, a bump and jump area in the middle and smaller waves on the southern end. The beach is very spacious and there is never a problem finding space for your kite or towels even during the busiest times of the year.
This is an excellent family destination as the beach is very child friendly with a gentle slope and a protected bay. The tavernes here are great and you can enjoy traditional Greek food as well as some international options. It is a short ride to the other lovely villages in the bay so there are plenty of places to explore.
