The hotel staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly and the breakfast very good for this price point. The room was clean and well-equipped, if not a little on the small side. There was only one negative and that was the lack of a fan in the room so it was very hot during the night. It was not a problem but it would have been nice to have some way of cooling the room.
Most of the hotels in Fourni are located in the village near to the port and beach and are in close proximity to the limited tourist facilities on the island. However, some are found on the island’s hillside between Fourni town and Kambi beach.
It is best to book a hotel in Fourni well in advance, especially during the peak season when most places are booked out. This is particularly true for hotels on the beachfront. During the winter months, bookings are less of a problem as there is generally not such a high demand for accommodation.
