Katarti Beach

The island has a variety of beaches from those that are organized with sun beds and umbrellas to some deserted shores that you can only reach by car or if you hike to them. The wildest one is the sandy beach of Armathia on the neighboring islet which is accessible only by boat and that has an exotic landscape and crystal turquoise waters.
Another top beach of the island is Tripiti which is a rocky shore that offers a mix of sand and fine pebbles sheltered by steep cliffs. This secluded beach is ideal for lone swimmers and relaxation getaway lovers as it’s often almost deserted even in high season.
Marmara Beach
One of the best beaches in Kasos is a small, natural beach called Marmara that consists of tiny pebbles in all colors that shine under the Mediterranean sun. This beach is a true paradise for those looking for serenity and privacy.
Another excellent beach in Kasos is Trita beach which is also known as Tripiti and combines the best of all: a beautiful, elongated sandy beach with a thick stoned shoreline and a beautiful seabed. This unorganized beach is a perfect destination for lone swimmers and nudists. In order to reach it, one has to walk a trail from the church of St. George in Hadies (3.5 kilometers, in total) which is considered a difficult route.
Other top beaches in Kasos include Helatros which is nestled on a cove in the southwestern part of the island and remains deserted thanks to its adjoining rock formations. This secluded beach offers a nice mix of fine and coarse pebbles with clear sparkling waters facing the Libyan sea – ideal for every snorkeler.
