As the tourist ssaeon was not as good as it was expected, showing up at a hotel will guaranty that you will be taken in and also that you can bargain up to a point the prices. If you plan to stay in a 5 star hotel, however, you better make a reservation beforehand. Those are the least hit by the crisis, which goes to show what kind of crisis we talk about.

You are right…but you can also work wonders at the pier if you arrive by Ferry. There you will find many hotel and inn keepers anxiously waiting to drive you to their hotels.
